Alderney Golf Club Junior Academy

Our goal is to equip young golfers so they may enjoy the sport throughout their life, and to enjoy Alderney’s excellent golf facilities.

In cooperation with St. Anne’s School and the Guernsey Golf Academy, Alderney Golf Club has arranged a program of professional tuition for all age groups, both at the school, and at the golf course. Junior golfers who wish to play the golf course, under adult supervision, are required to become members of the golf club, annual membership is usually £35 however this year it will be free of charge.

This autumn professional tuition has been given by professional golfer Andy Myers, who supports the Guernsey Golf Academy, and is scheduled to return on 21st November, and in the New Year. In May 2019 we intend to select a team to participate in the schools challenge tournament, to be held at St.Pierre Park golf course.

Tuition, golf equipment, membership and cost of attending the schools challenge has been afforded by a generous grant by the Alderney Sports Foundation and the Ray Lowe Sporting Foundation. With their support we intend to continue the junior academy for years to come.

There are a number of adult golfers who can supervise weekend golf. To qualify please complete an application form, attached below, and deliver to the Golf Club for the attention of Mark Smith, Academy golf coordinator.

Watch this space for notices about weekend golf, and if you wish to participate simply email Mark thetreasurer@alderneygolfclub.com
