Alderney Golf Club

It is a real privilege to have been voted in as captain of the Alderney Golf Club for 2023

Although born in Yorkshire l have spent most of my life in the beautiful island of Alderney. My very supporting wife and l have brought up two lovely sons (no better place for children to grow up).

I joined the golf club approximately 30 years ago but have only been on the committee for the last three years due to work
commitments. Two years ago l became head of house and last year l was vice captain.

One of many highlight of the year will be our club matches home and away to teams from our neighbouring Guernsey clubs. We intend to hopefully extend that this year with a visit to the mainland.

There are several open competitions throughout the year that welcome visitors of all abilities. Come along and join us
for a game or play with friends, relations or work colleagues and then enjoy our hospitality in our clubhouse.
